Pope Francis has declared 2025 to be a Jubilee Year of Hope. The Jubilee Year begins December 24, 2024 (Christmas Eve) and concludes January 6, 2026. Pope Francis has offered a Jubilee Indulgence to anyone who makes a pious visit or pilgrimage to a cathedral church, minor basilica, or a sanctuary as designated by the local bishop. The following sanctuaries have been designated for the Diocese of Fargo: St. Mary’s Cathedral/Our Lady of Guadalupe Adoration Chapel (Fargo), The Basilica of St. James (Jamestown), Maryvale (Valley City), Carmel of Mary Monastery (Wahpeton), St. Therese the Little Flower Church (Rugby) and St. Michael’s Church (Grand Forks).

Throughout November we remember and pray for the Souls in Purgatory. You are invited to record the names of your deceased loved ones in the remembrance book that is located at the front of the church, on the St. Joseph side. At each Mass in November (daily and Sunday), we will read the names and pray that those souls listed may be welcomed into eternal life in Heaven.
This year’s Fall Bazaar is coming up quickly on Sunday, September 29, and we need everyone’s help to make it a success! Our St. Anthony’s Fall Bazaar was a great success thanks to all the parishioners who donated their time, talents and treasures. The final numbers are still being tallied, but we will share them once they are in. It is beautiful to see our parish family working together on this big day. Thank you also to our bazaar chairs for their great leadership!
Join us this fall at St. Anthony’s for an educational series where we will explore the beauty of our Catholic faith. There will be Communion Services instead of Daily Mass on the first two Mondays of October: October 2 and 9, at 5:15 PM. All other daily Masses for the week will remain the same. Thank you for your understanding!

St. Anthony's Parish is in the beginning stages of planning a mission trip to Chimbote, Peru for the end of June 2024. We will be holding a second come-and-see meeting on Wednesday, September 20, at 7:00 PM, upstairs in the Mother Cabrini Room, for parishioners to learn more and express their interest in participating.
